1. What this Policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how ALTE uses cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies on alteglobal.ai and related product interfaces. It should be implemented together with a consent-management platform (“CMP”) that records and enforces the user’s choices.
2. Cookie categories

3. Providers in use
- Stripe — necessary checkout, billing, fraud-prevention and customer-portal functionality.
- PostHog — analytics for the website and the product interfaces. It runs on every visit. What it collects before and after your choice is set out below.
- Meta Pixel — advertising/measurement. Loaded only after you opt in.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — advertising/measurement. Loaded only after you opt in.
- Google Analytics 4 — not in use. No Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager tag is loaded on this website.
PostHog collects page views, clicks, form submissions, repeated clicks on the same element and JavaScript errors. After you opt in it also records browsing sessions. Every input field is masked in a recording, so what you type is not stored.
Your browser sends these events to a path on alteglobal.ai. ALTE forwards them to PostHog servers in the European Union, where they are stored.
After you opt in, a visitor identifier is stored in your browser and in a cookie on .alteglobal.ai. It links a visit to this website with a visit to a product interface, so one person is counted once. The purpose is to see where people stop on the way to a purchase.
4. Consent settings
Strictly Necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and Advertising cookies remain off until you opt in where consent is required. The cookie banner offers equally visible “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” and “Manage preferences” controls.
PostHog is the exception, and it runs without cookies until you opt in. Before your choice it sets no cookie, keeps no identifier beyond the browser tab and records no sessions.
Campaign identifiers in the link you arrive on are stored in your browser on arrival, before any choice: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term and fbclid. They are sent with a form you submit, so ALTE knows which advertisement produced the enquiry.
5. Changing your choice
You can reopen cookie settings at any time through the persistent “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future non-essential tracking to the extent technically possible.
6. Browser controls and third parties
Users can also use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Third-party technologies are subject to the provider’s own privacy policies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account or checkout functionality.
7. Updates and contact
ALTE may update this Policy as providers or tracking technologies change. Questions may be sent to info@alteglobal.ai.
