1. General rule
Customers must use ALTE Services lawfully, ethically and in a manner that does not harm ALTE, third parties, networks, platforms or individuals. This Policy applies to all users, trials, subscriptions, APIs and connected integrations.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, deception, malware, credential theft or unauthorised access.
- Using the Services to violate privacy, data-protection, marketing, sanctions, intellectual-property or other applicable laws.
- Uploading or processing data that Customer has no lawful right to use.
- Bypassing security controls, rate limits, plan limits, authentication or technical restrictions.
- Interfering with third-party services, networks or platform policies.
- Using ALTE to create or distribute unlawful, defamatory, threatening or rights-infringing material.
- Selling, sublicensing or providing unauthorised access to ALTE accounts or Services.
3. Email Outreach
- Customer must comply with laws and platform rules applicable to direct marketing and outreach in each target jurisdiction.
- Customer must use accurate sender identity and must not use deceptive subject lines, fake identities or misleading affiliation.
- Customer must honour opt-outs, maintain suppression lists and avoid contacting persons who have validly opted out.
- Customer is responsible for domain reputation, mailbox permissions and the lawfulness of contact data and messaging.
- ALTE may impose sending limits, verification requirements or suspend sending where bounce, complaint, fraud or abuse signals are excessive.
4. Lead Generation / data collection
- Only lawfully accessible sources and collection methods may be used.
- Customer must respect website/platform terms, access controls and applicable data-protection rules.
- Customer must not instruct ALTE to circumvent authentication, paywalls, robots/security restrictions or technical barriers.
- The existence of public data does not automatically mean every downstream use is lawful; Customer remains responsible for the purpose and lawful basis of use.
5. AI Lead Qualification and automated decisions
The Service may assist with prioritisation, classification and routing. Customer must not use ALTE as the sole decision-maker for legally significant, high-impact or regulated decisions where human review is required by law or appropriate risk management.
6. Healthcare
Healthcare workflows must be limited to approved administrative, informational or routing functions unless a separate regulated scope has been legally reviewed. ALTE must not be presented as a doctor, diagnostic tool or substitute for qualified clinical judgement.
7. Finance / KYC
KYC or compliance workflows may support document collection, completeness checks, summarisation and routing. Final regulated compliance decisions must remain with the authorised customer personnel and systems required by applicable law.
8. Sensitive data
Do not upload health, biometric, financial account, identity-document, criminal, children’s or other sensitive data unless the relevant product, contract, legal basis and safeguards expressly support it.
9. Enforcement
ALTE may investigate suspected abuse, restrict functionality, preserve relevant logs, suspend accounts or terminate Services where reasonably necessary to protect users, ALTE, third parties or legal compliance. Where appropriate, ALTE may request remediation before restoring access.
10. Reporting
Report suspected abuse to support@alteglobal.ai.
